This light panel combines LED strips and MR16 LED spot lights into a single unit that's designed to meet the needs of a display that's over 30 inches tall. As an alternative to the 34"x6" Combo Light panel (which uses large diode LED spots), this one is designed specifically for 36x18x36 vivariums. With no heatsink/fans needed, this light panel is noiseless.
The back half of the panel uses five rigid custom spec black LED strips that combine white diodes running at 6500K and 3500k (about 40w), as well as red and blue diodes mixed in for better plant growth. The front half uses three 15w MR16 6500k LED spot lights (included) -- for a total of 45w of power.
This unit is designed to sit right on top of the glass; with low overall heat emission this is possible. No need for fans of any kind. It comes with two dimmer switches so you can adjust the LED strips and spotlights separately.
